High Risk Obstetric Consultative Services

We partner with primary obstetricians to support women with high-risk pregnancies, offering consultation, shared care, and guidance throughout the pregnancy journey. Our team is committed to providing expertise in a reassuring and compassionate environment. We care for patients with chronic medical conditions, multiple pregnancies, and fetal abnormalities, ensuring individualized support and comprehensive evaluation.

Genetic Counseling

Genetic counselors help patients understand how genes, family history, and carrier status may impact a pregnancy. Since certain genetic conditions are more common in specific families and ethnic backgrounds, a trained counselor can assess potential risks and guide patients in making informed decisions about genetic screening and testing.

Carrier Screening

Carrier screening helps determine whether you or your partner carry a genetic variant that could lead to a serious inherited condition in your baby. At the CFFM, we also offer non-invasive prenatal testing (NIPT), which analyzes cell-free fetal DNA in the mother’s blood to assess the risk of certain chromosomal conditions, including Down syndrome.

Non-stress Test

We offer non-stress testing (NST) as a safe, non-invasive way to monitor your baby’s well-being. This common prenatal test evaluates the baby’s heart rate and how it responds to movement. No stress is placed on the fetus during this test.

Management of Chronic Diseases In Pregnancy

With more women choosing to start families later in life, pre-existing medical conditions during pregnancy are becoming more common. Advances in medical care allow many patients with chronic illnesses to experience healthy pregnancies. Achieving optimal control of these conditions before and during pregnancy is key, and we work closely with your primary physician to ensure coordinated care and the best possible outcome.

High Resolution Ultrasound

At CFFM, we use high-resolution ultrasound technology capable of 3D and 4D imaging to provide detailed visualization of fetal development. This allows us to assess the baby’s brain, spine, face, hands, and feet with exceptional clarity. We also utilize pulse and color Doppler imaging to evaluate blood flow, enhancing the diagnostic accuracy of cardiac anomalies.

Multiple Gestations

Multifetal gestations carry a higher risk of complications for both mother and babies. We closely monitor for conditions such as fetal growth restriction, preeclampsia, gestational diabetes, and preterm labor. Our team is dedicated to providing attentive, coordinated care every step of the way.
